Killer Kung Pao by Vivien Chien

Time for another cozy mystery on my agenda and back to the Noodle Shop Mysteries. I was able to grab book 6, Killer Kung Pao, from my library on my Overdrive one night when I couldn't decide on my next read.  I'm definitely going to be sad when I run out of ones I haven't read in this series.

In Killer Kung Pao, Lana Lee is busy with the Ho-Lee Noodle House as well as running a summer sidewalk sale.  Her summer plan? No criminal investigating.  That ends after witnessing a car accident between June Yi, the cantankerous bakery owner, and Millie Mao, a mahjong player with a penchant for lawsuits. Within days, Millie is found dead at a beauty salon, having been electrocuted while getting a pedicure, and June is the most likely suspect.  With the help of her friends, Lana is back on the case.

Once again, it's another fun read with quirky characters and a fast moving mystery.  There's even a bit of a cliffhanger with Lana's sister, Anna May, and the secrets she's been keeping over the last few books.  I've still got two to go in the series (that are currently published) and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to end up spacing those out like the first six.
